When the large slide out is extended it makes the main area even larger for everybody to interact nicely without being cramped. There is a private room with an full size queen bed on the right hand side .It has plenty of storage space. The living area has a TV/DVD player and sofa that becomes a full size bed at night, it also has a dinette that turns into a bed and has plenty of storage underneath. There is bunk bed on the left side, full size bunk on bottom, twin size on the top. One main door. Bathroom includes Shower and Bath. Kitchen comes equipped with pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishware, silverware, drinking glasses. We do not provide linens, bedding, pillows, and towels. The unit is located in a moderate area inland 10 -15 minutes from the beach so no waterfront view should be expected. However, it is one of the ideal areas due to its proximity to Camp Pendleton (17 minutes drive from the front gate, 12 minutes drive (7 miles) from the back gate), shopping centers, the mall, sky diving, horseback riding, and indoor shooting range. This two bedrooms two bathroom unit is very spacious and 5 adults could sleep comfortably. The unit has everything you will need and is fully cleaned and disinfected between every use. Every doorknob, handle, and remote (I have a slight OCD going on. NO PETS OF ANY KIND IS PERMITTED IN THE UNIT- A $350 deduction from your deposit for hypoallergenic cleaning if any signs of pets being in the unit during your stay. Other guests may be allergic to them). --------->Any pet hairs, feathers or alike found in the unit after your stay whether DIRECTLY from a pet you brought or INDIRECTLY from a pet you have at home on your clothing, body, or luggage; you will be charged for hypoallergenic cleaning to remove them. It will not matter if you, your traveling party, a friend, or a visitor did not physically bring a pet inside the unit with you. There are items such as an air purifier, ironing/steamer, and a Play Station video game unit. All T.Vs have Netflix. Streaming Sling T.V capability is only in the master bedroom. There is an Alexa Dot Echo system with Bluetooth capability for listening to your favorite band, group or whatever from your smartphone or from the internet via WiFi. (DO NOT UNPLUG MY DEVICES) There is a BBQ grill on the patio (If it's too difficult to light with the knobs, just use the lighter on top of the fridge). Additionally, there are beach items for your use (Cooler, beach umbrella, beach chairs, bodyboards, surfboard, and mat/ beach blanket.) The unit was not built with A/C, central air, or central heating due to its proximity to the ocean but, during the summertime, a portable A/C (MAY) be provided for each sleeping area. A heater (WILL) be available for each sleeping area and living room at all times. ( DISCLOSURE ** the unit was not build to handle many electrical items being on at the same time, too many ELECTRICAL items on at the same time WILL draw too much power for the circuitry and trip the circuit breaker. **) Lastly, I will provide enough toiletries ( toilet paper, toothpaste, and razor) for use for a minimum of 3 days. Anything after that is the guest responsibility. 1 roll of kitchen paper towel will be provided ( they may be more in the cabinets), but after that, it is the guest responsibility to purchase their own. Guest access Guests have access to everything in the unit. Use it, don’t use it, it is all up to you. There is also a community pool and a coin laundry area for your use ($2.00 to wash, $1.75 to dry) it's actually cheaper to use the laundry mat nearby. A laundry card is in the unit that can be recharged via credit card. Guests may park inside the gated complex or outside the gate on the street next to the unit (Ensure you keep vehicles lock at all times and remove all valuables as an extra precaution against theft) Please be mindful of any damages to the unit, items, furniture, or any unintentional removal of items (i.e keys, remote, parking sticker, etc). I want you to enjoy your stay not take your deposit Please ensure that no one in your group take any rags or towels from the unit when checking out, these amenities are for your use not for you to take. Removal of any of these items will result in a charge from your deposit for each item found missing. Interaction with guests You didn’t come this far to be bothered by me, so there will be no physical interaction with guests after check-in unless necessary. Be advised that if I am physically needed, sometimes it may take me a while to arrive because of my domestic responsibilities. Other things to note The unit will have a folder with some information on places I recommend you try out that is fairly close by. Nightclubs, bars, restaurants, etc. You can also simply use your smartphone app and find all the spots around Oceanside. There is a lot of people walking around downtown Oceanside so you can just simply park your car and start strolling. Thursdays you should ensure you make a stop at the Sunset Market by the oceanside pier, loads of fun. If for some reason you are visiting during the warm/cooler season, California is an odd place when it comes to weather. In Oceanside, it can be hot/warm perfect for surfing and swimming or hanging out at the beach. At the same time if you drive 2.5 hrs or a 114 miles Northeast you can go snowboarding or skiing at the Big Bear Mountain resort (You can use the snowboard and boots in the unit if it fits you), then if you travel 2.75 hrs or 132 miles East, you can hit the desert sand dunes in Brawley. Travel 1.5 hrs or 59 miles South and you are in Tijuana Mexico. You got to love this City and State! If you plan to visit Camp Pendleton you may want to visit their website and prepare yourself for the visiting processes. Unless you already know someone in the military or have access, you will not be able to get onto the base without their visitors’ protocol. You can surf at San Onofre, Oceanside Harbor, and Carlsbad. The most practical and beneficial use of this condo may just be for those military personnel transitions to and from Camp Pendleton and need a place to stay for a few nights until they receive orders or permanent lodging. Also for that personnel visiting their military loved ones, this cannot be beaten. 10-12 minutes’ drive from the Camp Pendleton back gate.
